Recommended Minimum Ledge Length

The minimum ledge length increases with water depth because more of the chaise must be supported by the submerged surface.

Measure the water depth after the pool has reached its normal operating level. The supporting surface must be flat, durable, and large enough for the chaise at the measured depth.

1. Inspect before installation. Unpack the chaise and check it for cracks, scratches, impact damage, or missing plugs before placing it in the pool.
2. Measure the ledge. With the pool filled to its normal operating level, measure vertically from the ledge surface to the waterline. The standard Signature Chaise is intended for 0 to 9 inches of water.
3. Remove both plugs. Locate the two threaded plugs on the underside and remove them with a large flathead screwdriver. Keep the plugs nearby.
4. Fill with pool water. Submerge the chaise completely in a face-down position. Allow pool water to enter through the openings until air bubbles stop. Tilt and rotate the chaise as needed to release trapped air.
5. Reinstall the plugs. Replace both plugs and tighten them until they sit flush with the bottom surface.
6. Position on the ledge. Carefully lift and place the filled chaise on the flat tanning ledge. Avoid dragging it across concrete, stone, coping, or decking.

Care and Maintenance

• Use water and a soft cloth or soft-bristle brush for routine cleaning.
• For a deeper clean, remove the chaise from the pool and use a mild household cleaner or a non-abrasive melamine cleaning sponge.
• Use a suitable calcium-removal product when mineral buildup develops, following the cleaner manufacturer’s instructions.
• Rinse surface residue, salt, and pool chemicals regularly.
• Lift the chaise when moving it. Do not drag it across rough surfaces.
• Before draining, lift the product out of the pool, tilt it safely, and remove the underside plugs with a large flathead screwdriver.
• When temperatures are expected to remain below 33°F for more than six hours, or when the pool is winterized, remove the chaise, drain it completely, and store it indoors in a secure location.
